Awana Year End Awards: Awana
Awards Night is May 22 at BBC at 6:00 pm. It will be followed by an Ice Cream
bar with all the toppings in the Fellowship Hall. Make plans to be here for
Awana Awards 2013.

Summer is Coming: Summer is
fast approaching. And with summer comes some exciting our summer schedule:

June 5: CentriKid Parents’ Meeting at 6:00 pm.

June 9-13: CentriKid for all Campers
o
June 23: VBS Training Meeting for all workers
from 4-5 in the FH.
o
June 26: Wow Wednesday for all ages at 6:00 pm

July 3: Animal Tales LIVE Animal Show at 6:00
pm.

July 10: Wow Wednesday at 6:00 pm

July 12: VBS Training and Breakout Sessions with
pizza dinner from 5:30-7:00 pm.

VBS 2013: We NEED
YOU for Vacation Bible School! Did you
know we had over 100 kids last year? Did you know that we are expecting more
this year? Did you know that in the last 2 years, 7 children have accepted
Jesus Christ at BBC’s VBS? Did you know that we can’t do VBS without you? Sign

VBS t-shirts: We are selling
VBS Kingdom Chronicles t-shirts for both kids and adults. Sizes are youth small
to Adult 3x. Shirts are $8 and we will wear them on VBS Sunday! Plus they have
an really cool dragon on the front! What kid doesn’t love dragons?! So order
your t-shirt with Elizabeth or call the BBC Office. (VBS Staff Shirts are also
available for workers for $10.)

Help Needed: Summer is jammed
packed this year. And we need Discovery Club and Kid’z Zone leaders for the
summer months. If you are interested in working a DC rotation this summer, let
us know what is a good date for you. Kid’z Zone needs a substitute leader on
June 16 and July 28.

A note from Mrs. Elizabeth: I
know it is hard to believe but Baby Horne is due in October. Hard to believe
I’m already 5 months pregnant! With a new little one comes some new and exciting
chances to support BBC Kids as I prepare our DC and KZ Leaders for my maternity
leave to come in the fall. If you would, be praying about who will lead Kid’z
Zone in my absence. Is God calling you to help in KZ in the Fall? Would you be
willing to come into KZ this summer to train using The Gospel Project? Come
check us out and see what KZ is really all about. And if God is calling you to
take a prime roll in leading KZ in the fall, you will be blessed by following
